We are pleased to invite yuo to the "4th Informal Working group meeting at expert level" under the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Panel on Research and Innovation, which will take place on 20 and 21 October 2022 in Tbilisi, Georgia in a hybrid format. The meeting is hosted by Georgia with the kind support of the Ministry of Education and Science and DG NEAR of the European Commission. It aims to offer a possibility to representatives of the EaP countries and the EU Member States, including researchers, innovators, research organisations and civil society to discuss the challenges for the implementation of the EaP post-2020 R&I Priorities towards recovery, resilience and reforms in the EaP Partner countries, the progress in developing/implementing national plans and programs with a view to supporting R&I reforms in the Partner countries. The two days event will serve as well as a forum to  debate the integration of the EaP Partner Countries into the European Research Area, to update all participants on the state of play in smart specialization and technology transfer for the EaP Partner countries and to discuss best practices for participation in Horizon Europe. 

This meeting represents a unique opportunity not only for taking stock of our cooperation in the field of research and innovation, but also for reaffirming our strong commitment to build a partnership based on common fundamental values, mutual interests and shared ownership as stressed in the December 2021 Joint Declaration of the Eastern Partnership Summit.
